What You’ll Need
- Digital timer (separate to the phone you will be filming on), set to 00:00.
- Mobile phone with ‘time lapse’ recording feature.
- Clear space in which to complete the jigsaw without obstructing the camera.
- All jigsaw puzzle pieces placed ready in the base tray of the box.
STEP 1
Start time lapse on your mobile phone and position the camera so it captures the full jigsaw puzzle (we recommend you test this before you start your official build).
STEP 2
Ensure your digital timer is set to 00:00 – hold it up to camera and press start on the timer in front of the camera.
Once started, place the digital timer down next to where the build will take place. Please ensure that the timer always remains in full view of the camera and is not touched until the build is complete.
STEP 3
Empty the jigsaw puzzle pieces from the puzzle base onto the build surface leaving a minimum of least 30cm between the tray and build surface (aka ‘The Flip’).
Note – it must be evident that all pieces have been separated once on the build surface.
STEP 4
Once the build has been completed, stop the digital timer and hold up to the camera for no less than 5 seconds.
STEP 5
Stop recording and upload your video to validate your entry into the speed jigsaw puzzle competition!
